Sasuke Curse Seal

Not sure if this should go in makeup but meh, close enough.
How would one go about creating Sasuke's curse seal along their arm and maybe onto face without actually tattooing it (mate has the 3 circle curse seal tattooed on his neck). I don't want to like, draw it on with a biro cause it would look at tad crap and take ages to do. Anyone got any suggestions?

look for ref, obviously. Then maybe design it on card or paper and cut it out and use it as a stencle (sp?), then you can't go wrong.

Post a reference picture please? I have no idea what this looks like... however if it looks like a tattoo, the usual recommendation here is alcohol activated makeup because it won't rub off.

The question of sasuke's cursed seal has been asked infinately many times on this board. Try using the search feature.

Stencils are good if you want quick makeup application, or want to use it on multiple occassions. Making the stencil obviously will take more time than doing the tattoo by freehand so it's up to you to decide if it's worth the effort.

Hm. My friends cosplaying as him and he's using magic marker, I keep telling him it will not work, but he does not listen. I think theres such thing as body paint. If you can find some, that would work well. As for applying it? Ask somebody to do it for you. Sorry that's all I could think of ^^;;

I found that, for just an evening or such, some waterproof black eyeliner worked fairly well, as long as you keep your hair and shirt collar away from it best you can. I suggest getting someone to draw it on for you,though, because it's not easy.Mine lasted for ages when I avoided poking at it:P For a longer period, I tried a henna tattoo, but unless you want it in red use black henna.However, be cautious, as some people have had severe skin reactions to the components in the black henna.

I thought of doing Sasuke with a cursed seal. I found this awesome pic on the net, and asked my mom to make a stencil, but she said no. So, I'm going as Shippuu Naruto now xD

we use make-up crayons for our Sasukes we use these http://www.brandsonsale.com/ca-008328.html for the out line and fill it in with the crayons. I would say practice before you goto a con because if you do it for the first time at the con you can be rushed and really screw it up. I would make stencils long before the con just in case you have to change on the fly makes it so much easyer. We are also testing using fabric paint. you paint the design on wax paper and then use eyelash glue to put it on! I'll take pictures and post them when we do it should be with in the next couple weeks as our next con is in like 17 days LOL

You could maybe get some of that temporary tattoo paper they make. Draw something up, print it out on tattoo paper, and apply. It has the advantage of not smearing, and not coming off super-easily until you want to remove it...

any craft store (Micheal's, Joanns, Hobby Lobby) should have it, it's a tad expensive (especially for poor people like me >n<) but it's well worth it.

I use it for Chouji's face swirls and they work brilliantly.

Do these pencils smear if your costume ends up rubbing over the mark sometimes? I found this thread because I have the same problem--a need to apply Sasuke's seals. Stenciling isn't a problem, but finally finding something that doesn't rub off seems to be! The collar on my costume isn't tight, but does randomly rub against the area.
