Choji Cheek Swirl Help

I'm doing a pre-time skip Choji for Otakon in 08. I don't wanna have to go out and buy fancy make up for two tiny things on each cheek. Is there a cheaper alternative to theatrical makeup, or is that pretty much the best thing I could use that wont smear or run if i sweat.

If you want, you can just use lipstick, and set it with hairspray, maybe some talcum powder before that. If you treat it gently, it should stay on. Just check the mirror on occassion, and bring extra makeup for touchups if needed.

Lipstick itself might be a little hard to control. Lipliner works just as well and it has a finer tip. Just my two cents... ^^

Can't argue with that.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I did find a lip liner pencil this weekend in a nice red color that I'm gonna try. I also found while i was looking for materials at joann fabrics to help my girlfriend with her costume, they had face paint crayons that claim they wont come off unless you use moist towellets/cold cream/vasoline and got that too. I'm gonna test both out on the back of my hands this weekend and see which one holds up the the most "abuse", meaning touching, rubbing, brushing, motion, and "sweat"(some water dribbled on it).

I'll take the hairspray advice too. I'll have a can of the "got2b glued" kind for my hair for choji so that'll give it a nice hard "top coat" for either way i do it.

you could try and take a piece of thick paper and cut out the swirl design with an X-acto knife and then use that as a stencil for the lipstick so it wont go over and you'll get nice clean edges, just a cheap extra mile you could go =3

also you could try nail polish instead of lipstick, works as good, stays on longer, and wont smudge or smear, just have to worry about trying to wash it off, which wont really be too much of a problem with some soap and a little scrubbing 0.o though I'm not sure if nail polish might have dangerous chemicals, I doubt it would though, but just test it on your forearm a little to be sure =3

Please don't put nailpolish on your face! Lipliner is much better all around.
