Hey guys, thought I'd post here in case anybody was interested ^^

I'm selling my fully styled and award winning Goku wig (Normal Black hair) on ebay for $265. It's close to base material cost since it is used, but in excellent condition. Normally I wouldn't want to part with it, but I'm really trying to get to Otakon 2010 this year, so I'm posting here in the hopes a real DBZ will be interested enough to buy it ^^.

DBZ is a difficult series to cosplay well. Everyone knows & loves the characters, so if you skimp on details, you look bad to any real fan (speaking as a fan m'self!)

Right now, I'm working on a Shenron cosplay, & I need some tips on making the horns & eyes.

My first cosplay was a Random Saiyan, probably one who died in Planet Bejita's explosion. I had a great spandex suit, made my own tail, & found the perfect boots & gloves. My armor, hair, & scouter were made of FAIL, though. Still, I have fond memories of my first cosplay attempt. Since then, I've done a few O.C. cosplays, Hyunkeru from DragonQuest, & Mikami from Death Note. I still need to refine some of those, but right now, I'm working on Shenron.

My first 2 times cosplaying Bulma were horrendous, but I had no experience whatsoever. I am an OK cosplayer now, trying to look realistic. My boyfriend is an amazing Vegeta, and even though he has the hair color, widows peak, and his hair does grow up, it wasn't as long as Vegeta's and people gave him grief...

In the second photo, the oufit looks really nice.

One question though. To me he looks to be more like Vegeta' father King Vegeta due to the fact, King Vegeta wears black, has the royal emblem and the red cape.

Vegeta as from what I have seen wears blue when he wears the saiyan armor and in the anime, he only wears the royal saiyan armor when he is shown 4 or 5 yrs old as a kid.

However, there is an offical artbook picture of him as an adult wearing the royal saiyan armor and there is nothing wrong with cosplayers changing the appearance of what he normally wears.

I applaude your boyfriend for doing this.

Truth be known I will be cosplaying as Vegeta with the full on armor (as he appeared in the Saiyan saga) but I will have the red royal emblem on the armor, as well as a red cape. It will be my modification of him. I will also hope to be making the scouter as well.

I'm in the process of making him a wig with structure underneath and he's working on new Cell Saga armor.

I'm officially back on the Z train. My cosplay will be super saiyan Trunks. My wig is a little less than half done. I can't wait to try it on. The Jareth wig from Arda is a big help in covering "bald spots." I've actually come to appreciate the fuzziness at the base of the hair. Look at my avy for reference. I originally wanted to do his short hair Super Trunks form from when he dusted the androids, that's why the two antennae are there. Ignore one of them. Annnd, that big spike back there is supposed to be lateral. Other than that, there it is.
