Noob after a camera

Title says it all. Going to the Convention in May in London, and me and my mates are after a camera. We need a real budget camera, being around 50 pounds, while still being worth getting. I've browsed various camera sales sites and been in Dixons (but they're not helpful) and I don't really know what it is i'm after. Has anyone got any suggestions or recommendations so we can get a camera?

if you 'don't know whatyou're after', you need to make a decision about that before you shop. no one can help you if you have no idea of what you actually want to buy.

50 pounds is about 100-150 bucks, right? you'll be fine with the list above.

Ok sorry, didn't realize the list, I must have just read past it. What I mean by don't know what I'm after is, well, what kind of specs camera's should have. And yea, 50 pounds is pretty much $100.
