I have a ton of really dark freckles. Normally I don't mind them, but they look really, really weird with my bright red wig. I've never used makeup before, so could someone please help me hide them?

Wow this is really great! I had a photos hoot coming up and I really wasn't sure what I should do with my makeup, and this really helped me. ^^

I made a general cosplay makeup tutorial covering the natural look and eyebrows, if you'd like to add it to the list!

Anyone know what happened to my post (which was in the original post) on makeup brushes? I checked my own posts already and can't find it.

D'you guys have this one already posted up? I thought it was pretty good for those who want ROCK HARD ABS (but not really, bahaha, I'm going to try it out when I get the makeup) for their cosplays without actually having them.

You could probably use concealer to shape your lips then lightly smudge the harsh edges a little since lips aren't "fluffy". Lol I don't know what word to use for that xD Like, don't make it blend all the way in your lips.

You may want to add a little note next to the description of each character's particular thread it is so people who are not familiar with the characters may still find something useful...

A question I really need an answer to! Please ;__;
Going to cosplay white-haired character, and the wig isn't looking very flattering on me. I guess because I am a little bit round-faced, and white wigs look better on people whose jaw is a bit sharper towards the chin >___< sooo... any DOs and DON'Ts about make up that would go with white wigs?

Thanks!

I read the thread about cosplay makeup, but I'm still in a tizzy about what to do!

I'm going to be cosplaying as Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time.

http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l8...xi7no1_500.png

I'm Ambiguously Brown (think: Shay Mitchell). So, I might have trouble covering my skin and not have it look weird. It's also going to be scorching outside, so I'm going to be sweating.

Do you have any reccomendations for makeup that won't smear or crack, and, what colors do you think I should get? Princess Bubblegum has an odd skin color.

This might be a really dumb question, but... whenever people say to "powder" after they use makeup, what do they mean? What kind of powder? I'll be using PAX in the future and have no idea what she means by "powdering".

Just powder foundation in a corresponding color.

So, I'm wanting to try out alcohol activated makeup for a full face and arms cosplay.
I've heard it stays very well and doesn't smudge much.
So I have a few questions about it.

1st of all I will only buy about 2 g of it, so I'd like to know how much that would
cover and how many coats would I have to do to get a nice clean color.

2nd I'd need to mix two colors permanently, so I could I do that and get them
to dry out so I can use it again?

Something that might want to be added on here, this is a video tutorial for creating the illusion of doll-like eyes. I know someone a while back had asked for it. One was posted on YouTube last year, so I'll link it here for anyone that is interested.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jk6lW...eature=related

She says that it would be good for Rozen Maiden and Vampire Knight cosplay, but I also think Alichino cosplayers would benefit from this tutorial if they are going for that look as well.
