ProfessionalOnly wigs
I know there's already a thread for them, but it's closed XP
http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread...=123825&page=3 Anywho, I'm thinking of buying this wig:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=024 and have read through the thread, but wanted a bit of feedback from people who have bought from them before. Alot of people said that the wigs are hard to style out of the style they're wefted in. I'll be cosplaying Ruby from Final Fantasy 9 (I wish I had a reference picture to show you all!), which involves mega Aeris style bangs on one side. A quick question, especially to those who own this style of wig - how well do you think this wig would take to that kind of styling? Normally I might look for a different wig after what I've heard about professionalonly's wigs, but I'm in a bit of a pickle since Ruby has a very individual hair colour and I don't really want to go into dying if I can possibly avoid it. |

I have two wigs from professionalonly, a short light teal one and a long dark green one. The long green one feels just like a regular kanekalon wig you would buy from cosworx and it's cut in layers that just bounce back no matter how much I brush it or pull it out of place. (One of my favorite wigs.)
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PW208-Green-Lo...QQcmdZViewItem The short teal one is of a slightly more matte color when photographed (less highlights). I was a little disappointed because the fibers felt a little dry and brittle. However, this made it extremely easy to cut (fibers not going everywhere all at once) and style into spikes with g2b gel. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PW167-Lake-Gre...QQcmdZViewItem The fibers wig you're looking at appear similar to this style, so I say go for it. Moreover, that's a pretty good price for the length of the wig you're getting. The clips they give you are also really cute. |

Thanks for the advice. I've ordered the wig now. I was just a little bit wary since it's so cheap for a wig that looks so nice!

I wouldn't worry too much. I also had low expectations when I bought from them and came up pleasantly surprised.
"I read so much yaoi I can't even sew straight any more. Haha." Awesome sig, BTW. (: |
