Question about Persona 3 Props!

I'm having trouble with the Main Character's props. I've already gotten most of the costume together, I just need to work on putting it together/modifying alittle, but the 3 props have been giving me abit of trouble. He wears an MP3 player/Headphones, and while I've found a pair of headphones that are close, I can't find any MP3 players that even look close to his. The real reason I'm buying an MP3 player for the costume is mine broke a few months ago, and I might as well kill 2 birds with one cliche.

Is it a Japanese MP3 player not available here, or just a prop, and I'll have to use something that's not it (I'm abit of a perfectionist) :3

Also while I'm at it, his "Evoker", to me it looks like a Luger, but I don't know much about guns.. Is it modeled off of a real weapon, or is it just a custom thing, that I'll have to scratch build?

His mp3 player kinda looks like a Sony. I'd say something like the E-series... if I actually found a picture of a silver one... there's only black or red/pink that I can find...

Yeah, it's some-what close, I saw one earlier that looked alittle closer at Futureshop, but It's more expensive by alot.>< The one he has is more cylindrical than that one though, but atleast I found something there. Thanks for showing that to me, I never woulda thought sony, since most of theirs are bigger xD

Headphones

The headphones the protagonist wears throughout the game, available in a special edition release of Persona 3 FES in Japan, are the Aluminum Ear-Fit Headphones ATH-EM700 SV (Silver) edition by Audio-Technica. The headphones included in the Konamistyle Limited Edition, which shipped with Persona 3: FES, a strap, and a poster, had "P3" placed directly onto the headphones. Also included is a protective pouch that has the protagonist's school emblem on it.

The ATH-EM700 SV headphones are still available for purchase, and are physically identical, however they don't include the logo or pouch.

There's a brand called Pixxo that I found at Fry's Electronics. It's an absolute piece of garbage, they don't seem to have a web site, and the instruction manual is in broken, nonsensical English, but the look is right. Unfortunately, I can't find a picture... but if you look, they're only 20 bucks or so.
Just don't use it to play music.

I have one that's not quite the right shape, it's rectangular rather than a cylinder, but it works out pretty well as far as colour and button places actually. I think it's MuVo Creative.

I was about to buy that Sony cylindrical mp3 player, but I found that there's no place to hang it on a lanyard. It's meant to be kept in your pocket or worn on an arm strap. Are there any other mp3 players that are test-tube shaped that can be worn around the neck?

I've been looking for awhile, http://www.mp3.com/-sony-nw-e407-net...3/summary.html is still the closest thing I've seen to the MP3 player MC has. It's expensive though, which is a pain. Making a Lanyard clip for it wouldn't be hard, which is probably what I'll do if I decide to buy this (which I'm really considering, just because I like the look of it)

But I probably won't get this one because it's not black. Although I like that clip - I can attach a lanyard to it. I'm thinking I can buy that Sony mp3 player and find some sort of attachment/clip for it. we'll see =.=;;

you know i might actually get this one for my P3 cosplay, it's somewhat accurate and they do have a silver one...for 24 bucks i think i can deal with a cheap brand since it won't be my main mp3 player...it'll just be a prop

Well, I don't have a picture of a replica Evoker, but they seem to just be using Times New Roman Font. I looked at a bunch and that was the closest one. Hope it helps!

I've found something you might like. it's a tutorial about how to make the evoker using layers of craft foam. I've been working on one myself, and I must say how I like what it looks like so far ^^
