Okay, I got the skirt short looking things done for my Hyatt costue but it looks all weird like...*like SHORTS even tho it looks like a skirt*
so I was wondering if anyone had and suggestions on how I would make it look more skirtier...and kinda **whats the word...** like how there are line looking things on it. ![]() http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=47832 I think thats the right picture for my example... you have to pleat the fabric. When I eventually make my hyatt costume I'm doing it in 2 pieces, one for the left leg and one for the right leg. Don't worry about the fabric that goes between your legs cause it'll just get in the way of the leotard thingie she wears over it. Take 2 pieces of fabric that are 3 times the length of the leg openings when you wear the leotard thingie go from a tiny bit between your legs in back to a tiny bit between your legs in front. Take that measurement and then pleat 3 times that length of fabric and then try back on the leotard and see if it goes exactly the length you measured it to be earlier and then stitch it to the inside of your leg openings on your leotard and you should wind up with a good looking skirt thingie ^_^;
