Near (Death Note) Help
I'm cosplaying Near from Death Note as he is shown on the cover of volume 9: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ima...283155&s=books
As you can see, the outfit is all white. Which brings up the problem: Since it's white, it's all see-through. What would be the best way to remedy this kind of situation? I'm just worried wearing a t-shirt and Soffes under it would look kind of weird.. |

well...it's not necessary see-through. i just grab a pair of white slacks and a white dress shirt and pair of white socks...><

i'd say to wear a tan/beige (or whatever color closest matches your skin color) tank top right under the shirt since that will be definitely less visible than white. wearing skin-colored undergarments should work too.

Actually, Near wears a white shirt under his what appears to be a dress shirt. Theres no need to wear a skin colored undershirt.

When I cosplay Near I wear a white tang top with the binding around it then, a white short sleeved shirt (with no colar because he has one under his shirt) and then the button up shirt.
For the pants I used a work pants from a place like Honda, Scotts and such. http://www.reliableplant.com/article...nda_Photo1.jpg They are really thick and not at all see through because of the work that they are used for. I got mine at a Salvation army for under $10. Plus they are usually men sizes and make them baggy. http://www.cosspace.com/user/gallery...74/album_1715/ Thats how a medium/small fits on me. yea. Near wears jeans in the anime, but he wears the 'white outfit' in the manga.
Alot of people dont like dressing him in the jeans and white shirt becuase it looks similar to L's costume. |
