Fujifilm Finepix F50fd - 210 from B&H

One of the things that I noticed recently is people complaining about their own digicam's inability to take decent pictures in indoor light. Well, there are a couple of pocketable cameras that are renowned for their ability to handle low-light point and shoot picture taking:

Fujifilm Finepix F30
Fujifilm Finepix F31fd
Fujifilm Finepix F10
Fujifilm Finepix F11

...see a trend?

Well the newest in the lineup is the F50fd. And it's very good with lowlight. It's gotten a lot of flack for having (unnecessarily) more resolution (a big jump from 6 megapixels to 12) and having actually slightly worse quality in low-light situations than the F31fd before it. But being slightly worse than the F31fd in situations where you need ISO 800 or ISO 1600 is still far better than other cameras out there.

And now B&H has it for 210. Which is pretty damn good considering it first retailed for 300 bucks and it's nearest competitor, the older F31fd, has been selling on ebay for right around the 400 dollar mark.

As always, take my suggestions with a grain of salt and do your own research before settling down on a decision.

Also... if you think that a savings of 10 bucks is worth it, the slightly older, lower resolution, but comparable image quality-wise F40fd is available refurbished straight from Fujifilm for 200:

I did play with the F30. The hight iso was awsome. The Z series use the same processor, so they should be considered also(even with smaller sensor).
