hehe, ditto, i don't listen to the radio much anymore, but if i get in a car with my friends, I usually end up on a classic rock station because I get sick of every thing else that is on

If you would've asked me this question earlier on in the year, I would've said "completely into it". However, now, I'd rather listen to KROQ... funny how I never imagined that I'd like the radio station considering how I used to despise it greatly. Eh, change of tastes, I guess.

Ok, you youngsters - what do you consider classic or old-time rock? Are we talking the 50s, 60s, 70s or *laughs hysterically & shakes head* 80s? One of my students told me the other day that they heard some great old rock on the radio - Tears for Fears! YIKES! Am I that old?

Well, actually, you know, it doesn't really matter which decade you consider old classic rock - I loves them all!

Good old doo-wop singing will always put me in a good mood.

I grew up listening to Buddy Holly, The Temptations and Elvis and hearing them still gives me warm fuzzies.

Of course there's 80's rock: Queen, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith - damn they were good!

finally someone made a music topic I can get into, lol. my dad is a musician and made sure I was brought up on the good stuff, lol. When all the other girls in my 5th grade class were into New Kids on the Block, I was into the Beatles right now I'm on a jethro tull kick. I also love pink floyd, led zeppelin, david bowie, you name it~

ya mean "Space Oddity" right?
I love alot of Bowie stuff.

there's alot of good old stuff out there..
but 70's rock must die.
sooo much of it is the epitomy of macho bullshit and weak music.

only when the old has died, the new will have the chance to be born.

I'm a big classic rock fan. For me, that means the Stones, Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Grand Funk, etc...

*raises hand* Yeah, I got into classic rock back in high school. I was really into it then. I went to a few concerts (with my dad since the two of us digged the same music).

Hm...here's a few of my favorites...

- Jerry Lee Lewis (I wanna play piano like him!)
- Little Richard
- Elvis Presley
- Beatles (duh!)
- Bob Dylan
- The Rolling Stones
- The Who
- Crosby Stills Nash and Young
- The Mamas and the Papas
- The Monkees (they're moreso bubblegum, but I like them anyway)
- CCR
- Simon and Garfunkle
- Hendrix
- The Grateful Dead
- The Eagles
- Styx
- The Boss
- Bob Segar
