I'm sitting in front of my wig, and about to style it. But, I'm doing Axel. His hairline has a widows peak. I have two wigs. One for the spikes and then one I'm going to destroy to make the peak.

But, I want to know if I can style it first then add the peak later.

Or, will that not work?

If I remember correctly you should add in the widows peak before styling, this way you know you won't be spending time spiking a certain part of the wig then having it not even be on the wig when you go and make the widows peak.
