Okay I'm in the process of cutting my fabric for this costume. Now my question is which kimono sleeves should I use. Should I use the Kosode which is the short sleeves or the Furisode sleeves which are th long ones. So anyone who has made a kikyo costume your help is greatly needed. Pics are attached if your not sure who Tsubaki is.

Those definitely look like kosode sleeves to me. However, you can always cut midway in between and then shorten them to your liking.
