I gotta say, it was nice cosplaying Xellos. Comfortable shoes, nothing tight or skimpy, warm enough for the cold weather. Usually I tend to do skimpy costumes during winter, and warm ones during summer, for some reason...

It didn't turn out quite as well as I would have liked, but that was mainly my face, not the costume itself :P And it was more or less held together by safety-pins. I was on a budget. And lazy.

Hello =). I hope I'm not intruding or something, I'm so happy that I've found a Slayers realted thread and I wanted to share my Naga costume. This was such a time consuming costume, never had so much trouble with a costume before >.<

I wish there were more Slayers cosplayers here where I live T-T.

Ink, your Xelloss looks great!! LOL, we all have those cosplay cons where safety pins make everything work!

And lunaishtar, mad props for tackling Naga!! I can imagine that, while deceivingly simple, her costume would be a pain to make fit/'work' properly!! And it looks great! I wish I were closer to you, as my Lina needs a Naga! <3

Thanks a ton! Man, if only there were a Slayers convention in which all Slayers fans would attend. :P

I'm going to be taking a class in woodworking this semester and I'm excited to redo her sword and scabbard. I was not happy with how it turned out...and it felt really rushed. I think that was the only part of the costume that I was completely dissatisfied with.

I definitely want to do another Lina cosplay, but I have a few other cosplays on the list before I get to a 2nd Lina. XD
