I'm surprised there is no thread actually focused on this. xD

I'm sure everyone and their mother has heard of the craze with the Pokemon Gijinka's lately. I know a few cons are getting group gatherings for them as well..
But there are no threads actually focused on the cosplaying, atleast none not relating to a con gathering.

The Pokemon Gijinka craze is basically human styled Pokemon. With their outfits, hair, etc resembling the Pokemon itself.

Would that fit for Azumarill if I made the ears? Or is the dress too dark? And if so XD what pokemon do you suggest for it, I was thinking Dragonair if not Azumarill

One of these days, when I lose weight, I'm gonna do all the Eevee ones. I love Eevee - it's been my favourite Pokemon from the start.

I think the dress is a bit too dark for Azumarill. Like you said. Dragonair is darker, so I can see it working for that one. c:

I've put together Meowth's dress, paws, ears, and tail for a friend. I'm about to send Vileplume fabric off to another friend. And I'm making Zubat for myself. (all for the D*Con group)

I think fleece and flannel and other snuggly fabrics are appropriate for a lot of the Pokemon. I used off-white micro plush fleece and light brown fleece for Meowth. Vileplume is kind of flannelish, I'm not exactly what it is since I bought it off a clearance table years ago. And I'm using turquoise and purple fleece for Zubat.

I would love to do perhaps blastoise,but something big,cuz im a big guy,i'm 6ft tall and 270 pounds,so yeah,i got the body of a football player yet i read manga and comic books,i lost my dad's pride a long time ago,lol.

can anyone tell me what pokemon are big,usually evil looking or epically strong and kinda scary,i stop playing pokemon after sliver and gold,just lost interest,but childhood is childhood.

you sound like me lol im 6'3" and weigh about 275 with an athletic build. Check out Aggron and see if that fits you. Hes pretty decent in size, probably would fit what you are looking for

I was planning to do Gijinka for my Pokemon cosplay group, but since I ended up nothing having enough time I became the Diamond/Pearl trainer. I think one of these days I'll try Beedrill.

But the rest of my group did a Gijinka group at Anime LA 2008 and it turned out pretty well. I think some of the members are going to improve on their current costumes.
