@solstis: Yay Skitty!! It's so adorable!! Fabric sales =OOO???? ::giggles:: yayyyy! I knew I shoulda gone the other day after my classes for my Espeon fabric ^_^;; . Not starting it for a while, I'm waiting on another coupon to come in my email (stupid online only coupons ;;. Item seriously costs more sometimes there b/c of shipping, unless you're buying something like dye that isn't available in the stores, or if there's no JoAnn's in your area. Then yay lol XD!)

Actually I have a question, I just remembered it lol. I was looking at the JoAnn's site for the fabric I would get for Espeon (tho I'll still go there and see it myself in person), and I saw that they didn't have the best reviews on their anti-pill fleece. They were a few months old though, so I was wondering if the quality indeed isn't as great as it was around a year ago or so, or if it was just from when they bought it online, or even just faulty advice.

I'm going to my JoAnn's store eventually anyway so I'll see for myself, but I want a heads up, especially in the case that they don't have the right color and I have to get it online. Thanks so much guys!!

I really like Joannes fleese both kind. it is hwat i use to make my hats.
it is hot - a summer outfit is out of th equestions with that. indoor or winter would be ok maybe. compared to the blizzard (the more expencsive stuff) it is lighter and easier to worj with. The blizzard fleese looks a bit curly but still flat, it is a heavyer weight as well . they are both easy to work with and sew well. atleast in my store the color selection is better in the blizzard but the anti-pill is on sale more so I get that. (my Shaymin hat top is made from blizzard fleese all the other are anti pill ((skitty is snuggle flannel))) ANYWAY!


I HAD to have that fliped fabric it was soo cute making skitty was my excuse to use it theres even just a little left. I'll make a head band out of it <3

plush wings are like making pillows - someone in this thread made some really cute ones maybe she has a toutrial

theazumaril dress is made in peices not dyed. however I thinkthere is some kind of product that will keep dye from sticking when yo ugo to the art store look in the dye section (RIT may make one) an it would be around there. how ever the easiest way to do those outfits would be to do the base color of the dress and add the white accents

Azumarils tail may be heavy guage wire
Furret is a tail with legs XD;

registeel and magnezone depends how you are making them

flaffy and slowking the easiest way I have heard to make that type of outfit is to lay down and trace around your self (i mean have soemone else trace) but there is a body suit pattern in macalls halloween section (and most pattern books for that matter)

what do you mean clips for pigails?

@Javakat: Pretty much agree with everything solstis said XD. For the pigtails do you mean the ears, like with the Eeveelutions (putting it out there b/c I need to figure out how I'm gonna attach Espeon's ears still lol!)??

I went to Joannes today and relized that I got my fleese names mixed up when I wrote that really long paragraph sorries ;_; plus my flannel was cozy flannel I never really remember what the names of fabrics are looks liek I need more work on that >_<;

today - well this week I will be testing out translucent thread . to be used instead of trying to color match thread to fabric it costs a ibt more but it'll be easier than triying to match and make more bobbons ._.;;;

my first con is in a few months, and my younger brother wants to come (he's 12, and i'll be 18 when the con happens), and he wants to dress up like a pokemon, he's thinking electabuzz or electrike, maybe girafarig, he'd like to be someone like aggron, but i told him that im not making armor, as i need to make my own costumes aswell

but he's still so excited =D it makes me happy to see him so excited
