For my Magnezone gijinka i am thinking of doing a japanese warrior style one with magnets on each end of the quarterstaff and the third magnet around the neck


Once I'm finally done with magnezone i'm gonna make a gijinka of my fave pokemon...Flygon!

luxray is one of my favourite pokemon, I definitely wanna do a gijinka soon~
too many cosplay ideas!!
so I started planning out my espeon cosplay. I'm going to make sockfeet [basically socks with foam toes covered in fur] and sockpaws [fur gloves]. I had a couple questions though: espeon has three toes, so I was thinking for the gloves I'd have three fingers [and a thumb]. it would be accurate but I'm not sure how comfortable it'd be or how good it would look, since I was envisioning tighter gloves rather than those padded ones used in fursuits. it wouldn't be terrible if I had regular five-finger gloves, right?
and I've seen a lot of kimono-style traditional Japanese style espeon cosplays, which fits the pokemon nicely. I wanted to go in that direction, maybe more wa-loli. but I was wondering, would that look okay with the "realistic" paws? hand/feetpaws seem more, I dunno, casual..I just can't really see knee-length furry paws with a kimono. anyone have any ideas on what I should do? I definitely want the paws [so fuzzy and cuuute<3] and I'd be willing to tweak the style to accomodate.

Hello, everyone. I'm planning a three-person Gijinka cosplay group (I have never cosplayed before and would love to have the chance to try it, so please forgive me for that) and someone who expressed interest in being the third person said she wanted a Pokemon that could fit the following categories: red or spiky blonde hair, preferably of the Water, Ice, Electric, or Dark types, and she wants it to show skin. A helpful cosplayer has given me two suggestions, but I'm just curious as to what others have thought? Thank you for your time.

@solstis: your Pikachu is super cute! I love the backpack and the Shiny Drifloon, I can't believe you made those! LOL Flying Pikachu XD nice!

@zombie: I think you'll be fine with the 5-finger gloves if you wanna go that route but if you wanna do more of a kimono look I think you might need to nix the gloves/socks idea. I was thinking maybe you can have a happy medium with more of a ninja look, but I dunno how that'd look like :/.

I'm hoping to go to A-Kon next year and meet with some friends from here at cos.com and other forums :3. My other cosplays are moreso wintry outfits (it's colder here in NY than Texas XD). so none of the ones I'm working on would suit it or be comfortable walking in for too long (they shut off the escalators there). I'm either gonna make Chimecho or Rapidash, with my own design for Rapidash (which is similar to Chimecho's anyway). I'm gonna draw it later and go from there lol. I won't be using a wig for this since I'll be dyeing my hair again for one of my other cosplays, and I'll be like a dirty/strawberry blonde.

Oh yeahh Shiny Pokemon! I keep on forgetting that lol ^^;. A lot do tend to be yellow though :3.

I designed out my Rapidash the other day, and then one of my friends reminded me that the horn isn't spiraled ^^;; so ignore that lol. (This is what happens when you don't use references lol!) I may use a nice silk brocade for the dress, and since I'll have my hair dyed a more sandy brown, I'm thinking of wearing those clip-on colored extensions to put in some "flames" in my hair :3.
