i'm a sucker for fur fabric. :'D messy as hell to work with, and i always, ALWAYS seem to work on bright or light colors when i'm wearing black clothing. |8;;;
but the results make it all worth it~ /loves how fur ears and tails feel.

For Fanime '11 I'm making Natu and Xatu for my friend and I. Natu isn't giving me any trouble, but I'm going crazy figuring out how to do the dress for Xatu. Can anyone give me some ideas?

the only thing I can think of based on the picture,is to make it a kimono style or something like that.

if you're having trouble with the skirt bit, you could do it without the longer bits (do the dress with only the miniskirt first) and sew those longer parts on separately? c:

Alright, I'm back! I haven't posted since I finished my Donphan costume, but now I'm working on a new one I could use some help with:

So here's my idea. I''ve got a chinese straw hat that I'm going to use for the mushroom cap, an old Flagpole to make into a staff weapon prop for the tail. What I can't figure out is what to do for the brown frill, What to use for the red feet (I was thinking maybe use some red clay or foam stuff on my black sneakers) and how to attack my staff onto my back so I don't have to hold it all the time (I was planning on wearing a belt, and figured I could slide it in the back.)
So what do you think?

Dragonite is in my list of cosplays to do! Whenever I get an AWESOME idea for the Gijinka, I'll start working on it. I'm weird I guess. I want it to be something TOTALLY original and not copied from an image I guess you could say. xD

@AaronScales- Ooooh that sounds cool! Cant wait to see that one! And iunno about the rest but you could make shoe-covers out of red felt or something and then you wouldent have to mess with your shoes so much and also clay might fall off xDD
