I could only think of myself being fluffy as a giant cotton ball. O_O;

Okay, maybe not really. I should draw out an actual design sheet so I could get my thoughts straight.

Cobalion Gijinka

I just finished a Cobalion Gijinka and wore it to AMA this past weekend. The only problem for coming up with it was the few references for the design and that I had no clue how to pose especially with no props or other people to pose with. I definitely felt like no one recognized the 5th gen pokemon yet at the con. I kept being mistaken for Vaporeon

I would be worried about putting stuffing around the light source, in my mind it screams FIRE HAZARD lol. As the heat may cause the material to catch alight.

Perhaps maybe getting a little fibreoptic (fiberoptic) thing and poke the little thready bits out of the end of the tail so that way they light up perhaps.

You could also use just plain old cellophane which would glisten and be see through in the light.

But it would all depend really on what is available at the time.

Just finished the mock ears and tail for my Umbreon. Should I put my pattern up? (the ears are a little less than a foot, the tail is like 65 cm long.)

That's actually a pretty good idea ^_^

I have a question for my gijinka snorlax outfit. I have made the hat, the pokeball pillow and pokeflute. My question is if I do a tie (like in this awesome MS PAINT picture i did lol) would people recognise me as snorlax or should i do a big cream patch for the stomach???

Sorry about the grouchy look on my face in the picture. I had just finished a 16 hour shift at work so very tired lol. But i made the person mile in the MS PAINT design lol

Hey all, sorry again about this.

This is the tie mock up (nothing sewn just pinned quickly) for my gijinka Snorlax do you think a big tie is ok??? I don't know why i thought a big tie, but from my interpretation of gijinka outfits it is an intrepretive-anthropomorphism of a character, and my idea was a tie lol. I just not sure if I did i tie if it would be recognisable.

Think I may need to reduce the size by about 4" but what do you reckon, do a tie OR do a big cream patch????

Just so unsure about it, please respond ASAP as i need to finalise before THURSDAY. Please any response will be appreciated.

Although it's a bit late, I like the tie idea. It looks a bit too big though so I would go with the shortening thing.

Currently I'm planning out a Zoroark gijinka with my own design. I'm going to attempt to make most of it from scratch but we'll see where that goes. The only thing I know for certain that I'm going to have in it are arm warmers and the red claws and probably dark gray pants. The top I'm thinking of going for something close fitting with a giant furry collar thingie.

I think that I am going to work on a Swellow gijinka pretty much like the one in the original drawings as seen in my forum icon. The biggest problem is going be matching the wig and trecnch and deciding what to do with the wings. I like that design because it keeps with a "classy" feel. The other one that I may do is a Murkrow/Honchkrow. I just feel that those Pokemon fit my style really well. Does anyone know what I should do for the Swellow wig/trench. All help would be appreciated.

what do you mean what to do for? you mean matching? Looks liek 'Midnight blue' such a good color <3
Get a wig first then match fabric from there. What you see online is different.

I ordered a teal wig from an image and it was green! even the package was showing the perfect teal color. I think the wings would be hard to do in feathers without dying them. unless you want to order that color online
