I decided on a whim to do an Espeon gijinka for Närcon Vinter's Sunday now that I know I can be there on the last day! (my train home leaves first on the evening)

Redesgined my Wingull gijinka.

Redesigned my Shinx gijinka. I love how it turned out. I think this cosplay can be "thrifted" very easily.

I made the ears for my Espeon gijinka today and also did a quick try-on with what I had ready for the time being.. which is pretty much everything except the red gem/rhinestone and some possible accessories.

Thank you! I agree, it's fun to see how different people work on cosplays.. that's why I follow a bunch of cosplay blogs.

I'm still looking for a red flat-back gem to have on my forehead.. and also considering adding some accessories.. if I can find anything that would fit with the design.

I had been having trouble thinking of ways to do the yellow mark on Tepig's head. The Five Wits was at my last con and I asked them if their clip-in bangs could be used on real hair. They said they can but they only have blonde hair and not yellow. They do sell it in white so I'm thinking I'll just dye that with sharpies.

I have found orange tights and knee socks at WeLoveColors. I thought I'd end up having to dye socks orange, so less work. YAY!

Edit: Just thought of a question. Does anyone have any ideas to make the tail curly?

Thanks H! Those pics are both out of date as I have both edited them a little since (I changed the bottoms in Wingull to a blue skirt).

I designed a Manectric cosplay. I'll try to show everyone sometime. Next up is Rampardos!

I got my tights and knee socks. The fabric they match is called 'flame orange.' I find that very fitting. I sometimes get a kick out of fabric/thread color names. The thread I used for Pikachu was called 'mimosa.'

@Shana- You could use coat a wire with fabric? I'm not sure what they're called but most some plushes that can be bent have them inside.

I'm thinking of doing this Dragonair gijinka after my Eevee~
What do you guys think of the design?
The darker part on the left side is a slit on the skirt xD
Not really sure about that 'V belt' thing

Oh, Manectric! One of my fav Gen 3 pokémons!
I have actually also designed a gijinka of it a few years ago. I might redesign it though.

I tried and tried and tried and tried. But once again, failed to design a Rampardos gijinka. Rampardos, we are not finished yet.

but on the bright side, *successfully* designed a Mareep, Manectric, and Taillow gijinka. Yey.
