Styling a Wig

Could you Style a wig like into two pig tails? or should you buy a wig with pig tails already made????

You definitely can style wigs, but you need to be gentle with them. You might want to get one with pigtails already in it if you can find one - or else the area where you part the hair may look a little bit weird/fake.

You can work on a wig best if you pin it to a wig head that is clamped to a table or otherwise held still. When I did my wig for Nuriko (upsweep, two buns, with bangs) I did not have a wig clamp and it took me several hours of cursing the wig, the head and life in general.

A sturdy wig clamp, lots of bobby pins, and wig T-pins will do you wonders.

Oh, I know. It was one of those "what do you MEAN the con's TOMORROW?" things. I'd never had to cut a wig before, so I put it off until I just.. couldn't.. put it off anymore.

Well, if it's lavender, odds are it won't look all that "real..."
