I should hopefully be there.

Amaranth - Ducan [Dream of Doll]
Fri - Not sure yet maybe Mikhail [Animamundi]
Sat - Kaim [Lost Odyssey] <-- If I get it done if not Rosiel [Angel Sanctuary]
Sun - Cain - Trinity Blood.

Thats my first choices. They may change depending on time and money.

EDIT - The subject of our banning is done. If you want to bring it up again and again, might I suggest time-travelling back to April when it was something new and exciting, and have your say then?

Those of you unable to do so, why not find something more important in the present to gossip about instead? Ta.

Manifest without Melanie and Asham is not Manifest anymore. Seriously, Melanie and Asham have both contributed greatly to Cosplay at Manifest, and I have been looking forward to Manifest every year to see their costumes. I think that decision will have a major effect on the standards of Cosplay at Manifest. Gah, so I'll have a lot less competition now that you guys are gone.
Well, you know where to go now for Cosplay (hint hint come to Animania for the best cosplay competition and best cosplayers in the country ). It's a shame I can't compete in the same competition though.

Hi White Rabbit!
Riza is cool though. But I expect whatever you choose will be cool.

Asham! Mel! *huggles* How harsh is that! I gotta wonder what people going to an advanced Yaoi panel would get all squicky about but regardless Nooooo!

That sucks big time (and reads like a MAJOR overreaction). You guys are both legendary and you will be more than sorely missed from Manifest. I know it's a cliche but it really won't be the same without you. It just won't.

I hope you both know you'll be more than welcome at Aicon and I hope at every other con outside Manifest. I'm going to try to get to AV-Con next year. I really hope to see you both there.

*hugs*

Seriously gonna miss seeing Melanie and Asham at Manifest - espeically your cosplays D: I think manifest org. was a bit harsh on you guys.

Gah true true, at least you dont have to go on the line ride and get yelled at by disgruntled volunteers lol

You better be at Avcon then :P

Kudos to manifest for addressing a serious matter with appropriate seriousness. I don't think it is an overreaction due to the seriousness of showing this sort of material where minors are present, however as I am not a part of the manifest organising committee it is not my place to comment on this matter.

Either way, I do hope we continue to see both Melanie and Asham at other conventions as they are both fantastic cosplayers.

Unfortunately my financial situation means I may not make it to Manifest this year, especially as the grand final is making it difficult both in getting there and finding accommodation. I might start saving for Brisnova and Manifest in 2009...

It is just as much Manifest's fault as it is Asham's and Melanie's. Manifest is the organiser, and therefore by law they are responsible for everything happening during Manifest. If they organise an event which contains adult theme (as do all Yaoi panels obviously do), Manifest has to check the content of the panel before saying that the material is MA 15+. If they don't check the material, they need at least to make Asham and Melanie sign a disclaimer, to confirm that the material is MA15+. Did they made you guys sign a disclaimer? Did they even check IDs of everyone attending the panel?
It's too easy to applaud Manifest when they are clearly at fault and are pointing the blame to others when they are the ones liable.
