Depends on what the wig is made out of. I'd use the hot water method to straighten actually. Check out the wig forums..there are tons of threads on it.

Question for the Stein cosplayers:
What type of wig did you use? Did anybody use the Scruffy wig from Cosworx and if so, how did it fare?

If I remember right I think Capt_Lucifer bought a 'scruffy' wig from Cosworx for her Stein cosplay....

It seems like she liked it but like I said, I'm not 100% sure. You'll have to wait for a reply from her to be sure =]

Yea I used the Scruffy in silver-grey or whatever color they like to call it. I really like it. I didn't have to cut it at all or style it really (though that was my preference for the character, I've seen a lot of people style out the bangs and I personally dont like the way that looks but to each his/her own). Its also very soft, its a great wig and well worth it ^ ^

Thank you! That's what I figured too when I looked at the wig. His hair is kind of spiky/messy as is and the Scruffy resembles that. There were a few others I was looking at on Ebay but they were laying flatter and would have required some styling.

My apartment complex SUCKS! They never tell me when packages have arrived >.< That really irks me so much. I think my wig has been here atleast a month. They did the same thing when i was waiting on stuff for my last costume (Yoko)

I cant wait till christmas. That's when my friend is giving me my jumper...and then Eruka is practically finished if i can just start my hat (i will be next week since finals will be OVER and the semester ENDED)

Also, my bf gets here next friday and i'm super excited about that. I'll let him be lazy the first couple of days, and then i'll start bugging him to work on his Free costume with me.

and, i'm trying to choose my next SE costume since Eruka is winding down (so happy!). It's between Kim (with my bf as Kilik) or Nygus (with my bf as Sid). I think making my bf Sid is a lot harder then making him Kilik...All that blue body paint o.o However its easier for me to be Nygus - and she needs more love!- then to be Kim. So prehaps i'll do Nygus and he'll do Kilik haha. I just wanna make the Pot of Thunder & Fire.
