I'm hoping to come along. I'm from Beckenham (near Bromley and Croydon).

It will be my second cosplay (I'm going to my first this weekend). I'd love to meet people from round here who are into cosplay because all my friends who take part live in other cities in the UK. (I'm being v brave and going on my own this weekend. I hope I don't end up standing alone in a corner looking sad. Do you think people will talk to me?)

There's quite a few anime manga fans in the south east! Im glad.
Of course people will talk to you. Con-goers are the nicest people you can ever meet, i think. you are coming to the meet at LFCC right? Id like to ask if youd like to tag along with me and my film group friends (theres gonna be alot of us) so you dont have to travel on your own, but maybe thats too much to ask?

Yay! Hello Croydon!
Yes, I'd love to meet up with you. Are you travelling up in costume? I think I have to, as it is too much hassle to carry everything up to London and then try and do hair, make-up etc in the ladies.
Where are you meeting? What time etc? I would say 'how will I recognise you,' but, if you are in cosplay, I somehow doubt that would be a problem!
My route would usually take me into Charing Cross, then via the District / Circle to Earl's Court. Alternatively, I could probably get to Victoria.

Today, I've learnt how to pm.....
I've also learnt that wigs are very, very, very difficult things to control, particularly because my cat has shown an unprecedented interest in mine and I've had to lock it away in the bathroom (the wig, not the cat).
D*mnit, I'm too excited about this weekend to do any of my studying.
