are their any sites with a collective of concept images; something that shows original sketches and designs of individual people. you can find pics like that here and there but i've never been able to find one comprehensive site. I doubt one exists but maybe a mix of sites have a good collection.
Also, i've been thinking into doing a cosplay for captain tyler... get back to the roots sort of speak and i was wondering if anyone had any good information on that since good images on that seem to be hard to find now or days as well. |

http://www.cosplaymanual.com has a section devoted to character sheets. The database is still growing, but that may be a good place for you to start.

My favorite way to get anime reference images:
1. Download the VLC media player for free here: http://www.videolan.org/ 2. Buy, borrow or rent the DVD. I recommend Netflix. They have almost everything that has been licensed in North America. The cheapest plan is about $10/month. 3. Use the snapshot function under the video menu. Screensave to your heart's content! The biggest problem is that you will find that character designs will vary slightly from episode to episode and some times even from frame to frame. So you often just have to decide what you like and go with that. @GStQ. Nice reference for the character sheets! I haven't run across that site before. The props/accessories thread is here. Check their list of tutorials and SEARCH the forum for information on armor. There are at least half a dozen different materials and techniques one can use depending on what needs to be made. Google body stocking. Many dance shops or eBay sellers have the things. Questions about Suu should be directed to the anime/manga forum. She has multiple different outfits and styles of wings, so you might want to post a reference picture for the outfit you are interested in. If you really have no clue where to start when it comes to her costume, you might want to consider an easier outfit or different character. |

You should look into Kwik Sew lingerie patterns - they have a good variety of bra and bustier patterns that can be easily adapted into a strapless-bra-type of garment.

I've done strapless dresses before, but I am really looking for a solid strapless bra, I am not sure how to adapt the bra pattern with straps to a strapless bra. But thank you for the suggestion ^_^

GStQ, can you add these to the main list? I find that they both come up fairly frequently.

Nice finds! I've updated the list on the first page. I love that little bias tape gadget (3rd bias tape link you posted).
