Smile Look alike contest?

What if, for AnimeFEST! 2008, there was a cosplay look alike contest- with prizes? But this means more than just a good costume like the masqurade as things such as actual physical likeness to the character (like a large overweight man could not win, no matter how amazing his costume was, if he were to cosplay kinomoto sakura) and ablility to imitate the characters personality should factor in as well. this is just a suggestion, please let me know what you guys think!

Inuyasha: That's what makes things interesting..I suppose there's no telling what tomorrow will bring.

Considering most anime and cartoon proportions tend to be utterly unrealistic, it doesn't seem very likely that a real person can have much physical likeness to a character. I can't say the same for realistic videogames or live action shows, however.
Costumes for 2012 (Subject to Change)
Maya [Borderlands 2]
Agent Washington [Red Vs. Blue]
Xian Mei [Dead Island]

Points for originality, but I doubt it'll actually work, as unless the creators tried their damnedest to make the characters look human, the proportions would be out of whack.
Upcoming Conventions:
- Izumicon 2011

Planned Costumes:
- Scarecrow(Batman): 100%
- Spike(My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic): 100%
- DJ P0N-3(My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic): 100%

You'd rule out so many genres of costumes with this - mascots, animals, chibi-sized characters... and it would doubtless generate a lot of bad feelings.
