Cosplay at the DC Zoo?

Canceled
Never Mind I was doing research and I also realize in August its the last month before schools start again so it will be very busy there and it will be to much of a hazzel for all of us even in costume. So I decided not to plan it. Sorry guys.

If the Forum Mod would lock or delete this I would appreciate it.

Thanks and I hope to see all of you around at conventions :3

I'm going to pop in for a second.

Have you called the zoo, and made sure it was okay to be having a cosplay gathering there?

I hosted one at the Los Angeles Zoo back in February. I called them up, and explained that I was interested in hosting a costume birthday party there. I was told it was fine. I'd recommend calling, and making sure it's alright. You'll probably want to speak to somebody in management, just in case the person who acts as the zoo operator may not know.

Also, you should be sure to write down who you spoke with. Write down the date and time you called. It'll help in the future if you run into any problems. If you get the okay, and you talk to somebody later who gives you trouble. You can let them know that management gave you the okay. It's better to be prepared.

ok :3 thanks for the advice its still in the air though only if people want to do it. It might not happen, but who knows. We might plan a picnic in the mall area in DC where people have picnics and stuff there ^^ instead. Plus it might make things alot easier. But Im going to look into it and Post up when updates and such.

Could always go to Union Station for food as well. I'm deffinatly interested though. I go up to DC a lot and when you do, you find there isn't as much to do there. Need to spice things up a bit Anyone live in DC? If so, PM me
