lol my original idea was to just do the outside of the tie for the next sacanime in case theres gonna be a rave again. the only problem is you need a power source to run the light

also dont try to use it for shoe laces it breaks very easily

Lol nah, about the EL wire, that's been part of my plan from the very beginning. When I said on AIM to you that I was planning on adding lights to my cosplay, that's what I meant. The panels + EL Wire. x''D So yeh. x-x Still waiting on the proper wig to come in (waiting for my THIRD wig now! They've sent me two defective ones -_-''') so that I can color match the fabric.. =( Then I can finally start sewing the costume. *sigh* Lol but yeah... EL wire has been in my plan since the beginning. x'D

Accually its been done a few times ive seen it on my vists to japan with the Yamaha group.

My Kaito base outfit is accually made with the el wire on the blue areas and my Twins have the same thing going on.

Its fairly hard but once you get the hang of it it gets simple problem is hand sewing all the wires on and making sure they stay on our AS Outfits have some faws due to that face

oh cool. i was gonna do the bottom hem of my mikuo when it finally gets here
i actually made a jury rigged tool to sew the wires for the headsets, but it should work just as well for the el wre

I'm planning a Kaito cosplay early 2010 & working on a Gakupo one for 2011.

I thought Gakupo was another original one based off the software?

thanks, i originally was thinking glow sticks on it but then after theyve gone dead the whole accessory would be useless. now if i could only find an inverter for el wir that would fint into the headphones i make lol

Well. Being Miku at Sac-Anime this year was fun! Imma cosplay Miku again in January for winter Sac-Anime. ^^ But before then there's stuff I need to do to my costume to make it more decent. xP I mean it's ok now, but there's a lot I gotta do. Here's a list:

1. Make a new mic, as the current one won't stay, and the mic part of it got smushed when I put my headphones in a bag. >_<;;
2. Get fabric paint and paint the things on the sleeves, since I can't get the sleeve panels to stick and I'm afraid of them falling off, plus it'd be better to just paint the squares onto them. ^^;
3. Get fabric to make the belt.
4. Get a decent wig with extensions/clips.
5. Get longer socks and aqua ribbon to attatch to the ends of them.
6. Get some black shoes and paint the bottoms aqua.
7. Do some minor things to the blouse.

And, that's it. Phew, that's a lot! But they're all simple stuff. So no worries. ^^;
