Ok. I'm going to Chibicon this year.
And since there will be a really big vocaloid group, I want to go as Len again.

Now is my question about Biker Len.
Since I can't find anything about that version I suppose it's not a real version?
If so, any pictures/help about how to make? o..o'

Also, which version would be nice to do and isn't been done that much? Might be a stupid question, but I don't want to be just the same as any other Len cosplayers at Chibicon. Since there will be 2 default versions, 1 from synchronicity, 1 from Dark Woods and 1 from Fate:Rebirth. This group exist out about .. 31 people. With a few of the same ofcourse.

Nazotoki is easy and quite popular now ~ but underdone as a costume (probably because it's a wee bit boring)

Shouldn't be too challenging to find something no one ever does (since people gravitate toward the handful of laziest and most dramatic looks virtually ignore a hundred or so others)

Just PLEASE no more Spice, Magnet, or Imitation Black. I'm suffering so much burnout from those three ~ that and I can't STAND Len in a dress *raaaaarghskghsdgdghwgpnfickj*

Spice is to easy. I've already done magnet. I hate seeing Len in a dress so that a no-go for me. Though I'm only going to do him if my Kaito will do that version. But they first need to try to get me in a dress before I even start thinking about that. xD

OH. And what are you guys' recommendations for the megaphone for Love is War?
Is it cheaper to just buy a black one and add the colour (or get one and paint it)
Or making it?

The cheapest would probably be to make it, however, the shape of the bell of a Megaphone is not actually conical, it's parabolic, so it's actually pretty hard to craft accurately.

I would recommend buying one and painting it, as long as you can find a good deal on one. It's hard to even find them black rather than white and red, but spray paint made for plastic is pretty easy to find (Krylon Fusion is a reliable type).

It's cheapest to get one in whatever color you can second hand then paint it the colors you need. Search "Love is War megaphone" on the site and you should get the last few times this question's been answered. Too lazy to repost the tutorial :P

There was one active in the prop forum in the last few days under the title "love is war speaker".

I've done him 4 times... have only made one of the costumes and found the entire experience really challenging.

Most people screw up the wig epically (including me half of the time).

Rin is easier by virtue of that alone (not to mention, you don't need to work with rivets or tie a necktie >.< ).

Though design-wise ~ Kaito and Meiko are both quite a lot more straightforward than either of the twins.

If you're looking for something ~easy~, try looking at some of the genderswaps or more simplistic alternate costumes for famous songs (World is Mine, Spice!, Just Be Friends etc.)

Return to Zero has... (or had) a website maintained by the artists and composer. I think it had all of the design sheets that are currently available. Try searching for "Return to Zero" on yahoo.co.jp and see what pops up.
