Hmmm...Paradichlorobenze and Fear Garden are the first ones that come to mind for me. I know it's a place to buy costumes, but if you look through cosplay Fu (.com, obviously without spaces), sometimes you can find designs through there, and maybe even a place to start by looking at theirs.

Meanwhile...Vocaloid, you're killing me. I want default Len, but shoes are proving to be very difficult for me, since I have to have his shoes perfect to be satisfied, but don't have the money. Dx Witch Miku would be slightly too much for me to be comfortable with...Kaiko is good (and cheap) but I'm really self conscious about my arms and legs x.x; Rin in some version would be good, I just can't seem to find any I like and can afford..And Piko would be absolutely perfect, but I still have no clue if ManyCosplay is good or not *Le sigh* I just wish I could freakin' decide! D;<

I actually have a question. I plan on cosplaying SeeU and was wondering if satin would be a good fabric to use when I sew her shirt.or rather wouldthe cosplay look better with satin? Thanks for your help!

@.PapercutSenvy. which defualt Len?? the orginal first one or new append? I am curious to know what the 'perfect' shoe would be. It's a white shoe with yellow trim and there are a few cheap ways of doing that.

@darkice11 satin the bane of the sewers existence it can be a pain in the but to sew because it can snag and mess up a whole outfit >_< if you use the costume satin it will be worse I tried it once... I trust Casa Satin and crape back satin though
her outfit is not shiny .... so unless you don't care about that shiny satin might not be what you want.There is nothing wrong with satin but know what you are getting yourself into.
pick a fabric you won't want to toss out the window >_<;

Shiny fabric usually doesn't photograph well, so I usually advise against it in any situation. I think the cosplay would look cleaner with matte fabric.

Ok, so this will sound crazy but...
What I plan to use for his sleeves are sleeves cut off of my brother's old underarmour shirt. I tried them on, putting the part originally meant for the wrist at my elbow and bam. Vocaloid sleeves.
Now, I realize underarmour is kinda expensive and not everyone wants to be cutting them up. But if you know someone with an old shirt they don't want, why not?

Yeah... I wanted t get an under armor jacket turned ovr the price tag and sill haven't recovered >_< but hey that is good up-cycleing PLUS the rest if it could be used some how too. the body wight be good to make the leg socks with x3

This is a minor thing to worry about, but does Kagamine Len have a particular pose at all? Wel, one outside of a couple's hug or something whenever around Rin, that is. heh I'm asking because at Katsukon, assumiing I get the outfit in time, I'm cosplaying him and just wanna know if he has a particular pose he takes.

He is said to be a bit shy and less confident when not around Rin, so try working with that.

He doesn't really have a particular pose haha. Most people I noticed would usually have an outstretched arm towards the camera with a hand on their headphones. I guess kind of a default pose. Though, you can look through here for poses you like.

I've finally started working on my default Rin (and I'll be doing some work on my boyfriend's default Len, too). We're working on Kokoro/Kokoro-Kiseki, so his default isn't as important as mine right now.

I've cut out my legwarmers and pinned on bias tape, but I haven't started sewing yet because I don't know which needle to use. My legwarmers are made of PVC, so I got a heavy duty needle, but it can't be used on woven fabrics, so it'd destroy my bias tape.

I'll probably try using a standard needle, but it'll probably break. If it does, I'll have to hand-sew it, which I hope I don't.

I'm going to try and finally finish my Dark Woods Circus Miku cosplay before May. I realised some time ago that I have the dress almost done already, so it shouldn't be that hard to complete. I'm sooo excited to have it finished and get photos taken!
