I really want to try and make a wearable version of Viral's first Ganmen Enki, from Tengen Toppa Gurren LagannGurrenLagann-ViralMech1.gif But I have idea wear to start on what to make this all out of, I mean it has to be sturdy but still able to move around and be flexible. Any suggestions?

you picked a hard one to do, the main problem with this one is that it is a mix of hard parts and flexible parts, like the legs chest and hip part are hard non flexible armor you could make that out off wonderflex, glassfiber or styrene sheets and if you don't have much to spend cardboard with bondo. The arms and shoulders are more flexible material just like your own arms, you could make that out of a long T-shirt padded with foam coverd in latex.
