This worked really well as a trial for a blonde cosplay, although it took me a few tries to get it to look right and not gumpy. ^ ^;;

I also used a metallic green mixture for prep for a different cosplay and it looked REALLY GREAT. My eyebrows weren't like aluminum, but they were futuristic-ish and cool, which was what I was aiming for. :3

As someone highly allergic to lots of random substances, I'll be trying this as soon as I've passed a 48 hour crook-of-the-elbow test for a rash or allergic reaction. If it works, I'll be very pleased, since it's an incredibly cheap fix for something I have problems with. Thanks.

What about hiding your eyebrow completely? As you'd have to do for this

I just now tried it with elmer's stick glue and pink acrylic paint. Works and looks great for my Haruko and Shuichi cosplays!

My grandmother won't let me do this. IS THIS SAFE? I really need to dye my eyebrows red for my Shana cosplay this weekend.

Do you have a pic of the results?

It's definitely safe, many of my friends have done it before and I plan to do it for FanExpo as well.

Also, is it okay to keep the glue in your eyebrows for more than 2 days?

So I've been testing this for the last hour or so and the results I'm getting are okay at best. Typically looking better when the paint actually gets on the skin underneath, which I wasn't sure is what is supposed to be going on.

I never really thought my eyebrows were thick but they are a really dark brown. So I guess I need to know should I apply more glue i.e. apply, let dry, reapply. Also do you have to wait for it all to air dry, which takes forever when you're waiting specifically for it, or could you speed the process by using a hairdryer?

Thanks for the tutorial, also.

Not 100% sure, but I think you need the acrylic paint because it thicker (poster and watercolour aren't thick enough). Acrylic paint is really nice and thick ^-^
