What about watercolour instead of acrylic paint? Will that work?

I used this for my Yoko cosplay and it looks fine in photos, plus my eyebrows were usually covered by my wigs bangs any way so you couldn't see them much. But they did start to peel after several hours so the next day I put a million layers of glue on my eyebrows and they didn't peel at all that day.

Though up close they look a little cheesy, but no one's really ever that close to me cept maybe my bf and my friends so...not bad looking in photos.

I've been using this method for a while And it's worked quite well.
I modified it a bit though, because the glue actually didn't work for me. If I need to paint my eyebrows a lighter color, I paint them white first and then I paint them the color of the wig.
If the wig is dark enough, then I just paint them the color I need. With my Lavi wig, I just painted the red on, no glue or white.
My friend went as Sakura from Naruto and I just painted the pink on her brows, cuz hers were light enough.

So in all cases, the glue or white might not be neccessary :3

Hm. Also you don't even have to wash your eyebrows. I just peeled the glue off, but you should do it really slow since it pulls on your eyebrows. It tends to pull 1 or 2 eyebrow hairs, but doesn't rip them off and they look fine afterwards.

I tried this, and it worked well!
I dunno if it's the color of paint I have or because my skin is dark, but I had to blend in some concealer with the paint color to make it match better and not look so shockingly different. But it works! Thanks!

OH~!
this is so perfect! I have been worrying like FOREVER when I do Juliet from R&J How I will make my eyebrows like juliets, and even for my nami cosplay since mine are practically black >.<
I am gonna give this a try for practice and see how it goes~!

What a clever, cheap and fast technique! This method seems to be perfect for those with dark colored eyebrows without looking fake and obvious. Thanks for sharing! Definitely have to try it.

Awesome method, I tried it and it worked wonderfully. I'll be using this for my Zexion and Marluxia cosplays, since my hair is so dark brown, it looks black. XD;; Thanks, this really helped!

I tried this out today and it WORKS!! It also washes out easy. When I brushed over the edge, it was also easy to clean and sharpen. Fast, cheap, and simple. Now I have to figure out the mysterious art of eyeliner...

so excited!! i'm cosplaying as Chii<my first ever anime convention too> and i didn't know what to do about my eyebrows! but i KNEW there had to be a "put on,leave on,wash when done" method...and i seem to have found it now!! i'm gonna go to a craft store at some point and try it out..maybe even go to work with blonde eyebrows to see if anyone notices! then again, maybe not...thank you so much if this does work! and i will post back to say if it does or doesn't^-^

Thanks so much for this.
I modified it a bit since I didn't want to go blind over the acrylic paint...
I don't know if this new method is as good, but if anyone wants an alternative, still using the glue idea, I did this (this is what I did for the picture that is my icon right now):

1. Get a pea-size amount of glue for each eyebrow and drag it along, inwards to outwards, pressing the eyebrows flat.
2. Dab your finger in baby powder. Press the baby powder into your brows (don't drag it or it gets bumpy). Use a good amount, to totally cover your brows.
3. Take an eyeshadow brush and use whatever color eyeshadow you need (pink, blue etc.) and brush that on top.
