I did this and the color came out extremely bright. What color of the folkart acrylic paint did you use? I think the color i'm using for blonde is too much of a yellow.

Isn't it extremely dangerous to put acrylic paint on your body? Especially near your eyes?

Thanks so much for this! On to Bangs!

It's on the eyebrows. If it drips use tape and a lot of washcloths.

It is, but thats still on your face or skin. Maybe the glue would stop it, but Im not sure

^definitely wouldn't recommend it. Why not just use face paint after the glue?

Isn't acrylic paint horrible for your eyebrows though? I'd imagine its bad for your hair follicles.

Dawn (Pokémon)
Fetch (inFamous)

Thumbs up Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for the tip on this. It can be quite the challenge for me to find matching makeup color as my yarny hairstyles that works well on my dark eye brows and skin tone. This is a life saver! I have paint in my craft stash and never thought of using it on my skin. This is awesome!

Okay so just a few notes from personal experience..

I use this method 99.9% of the time.. and I've never had any issues (and I have rather sensitive skin) No dripping, no irritation, no ruining my eyebrows or skin.

Washing it of just takes warm water ( I normally wet a wash cloth, and then run it over my eyebrows a few times until the paint and glue comes off, then I wash my face as I normally would)

That said though I have read articles that say that even though they're non toxic acrylic paints should never used on the skin ( But what I can't find is if there's a difference between craft paint (which is what I use) and Artist Acrylics )

I've also had no issues the two times I used this method to achieve lavender eyebrows. I think it really helps make your cosplay look complete if you've got a wig. And I've had no concerns about safety, Elmer's is probably even safe to ingest (in small amounts) due to it being made to little kids to use. And unless you've run into skin issues making glue fingerprints I wouldn't foresee irritation from this either. And it's definitely not strong enough to pull out your hair or anything.
