Just wondering, would this work to make my eyebrows blond? Cause you can't really get blond paint that isn't just yellow... can you?

I just use acrylic paint. Works for me!
I've also heard friends tell me they use colored mascara? I've never tried it.

Who knew something so simple can be so incredibly useful?
My eyebrows are already blonde, but for other wig colours (I'll be using black and a pink colour soon. Especially with black, light-coloured eyebrows might look odd...) I might just actually just give it a try ^^
Thanks!

This method is awsome! My friend always mentions how much my eyebrows seem to stand out when I've got my red wig on. No more.
I tried this out when I first heard about it with the red. It worked really well. But I wasn't quite sure how it would work with Blonde. Because my eyebrows are really dark. But I tried it today and it looked awsome!

I'm planning to do this for Ohayocon, so I tried it for the first time today...and it didn't work very well. D: I think I'm doing something wrong - are the eyebrows supposed to lay flat against your head after applying the glue? Because mine didn't, and when I tried to paint over them, you could see bits of dark eyebrow underneath. Not pretty. D: I need to do this in both blonde and white/silver for Fai and Gin, so having my dark eyebrows showing through really, really stands out. I tried adding more paint but that just made it kind of clumpy. Am I doing something wrong? D:

o.O Huh. Yes, they're supposed to lay flat. Never had that problem before... I had to paint my eyebrows white, and no black hairs didn't really show through, though some did the first time I did it.
You're not brushing in a back-and-forth motion, are you? That's about the only problem-causing tidbit I can think of. Or, maybe you have thick eyebrows? I suspect it wouldn't work very well if that's the case. Well, even if they're not think, you can always try trimming them a bit to see if that'll help.

I dunno, it's odd DX They were kind of raised from my forehead. Maybe it's just the way they grow, or the brush I was using? I wasn't going back and forth at all, and my eyebrows aren't thick. I'll try again and see about using a different brush and trying harder to get them flat. I think I just screwed up, since I didn't actually look at this thread right before doing it.

You may find that doing a couple of layers of the glue helps - the glue is what you use to get it flat, while the paint is just for colour. I would try using as much glue as you need to get it flat, and then try the paint. :3

XD!! Thanks for the entertaining and helpful tutorial! I can't wait to try this out. I normally just use straight acrylic paint, but I'm curious to see how the glue affects my eyebrows close-up.

Complete flatness that is on the same level as your skin is quite impossible, I'd think. ^^; You can get them flat enough to not show up in most pictures, though. I used an angled brush when I was doing this. It gives you really nice, crisp lines compared to a regular round.
I found that using more glue makes it peel off more easily (thus more prone to accidents), though it does make your eyebrows lay flatter and smoother. A compromise, I guess.

*Instant bookmark* Oh thank you, thank you, thank you. I really needed this... and I hope it works for neon green eyebrows (C.C. cos) and sky blue ones (Rei Ayanami cos). I suppose a skin-tone paint would give the impression of not having eyebrows at all? 'Cause that's what I need for L xD
