No Face - Spirited Away

I have had a search and I can't find if any one has answered this before.
I want to make a No Face costume, and in doing so want to raise the costumes head above my own actual head so it will be sitting ontop of my head. I said head to many times.

Does anyone have helpful suggestions on what I would need to make to lift the mask piece, I am thinking a shoulder rest and helmet under the cloak.

Thanks for any help.

maybe you could make a rounded platform like thing that attaches to a neck brace? and place the mask way up there. like a wire frame that low in gauge so itll be sturdy.
