Fruits Basket to be published by Tokyopop!
Wai! Listen! ...Unless someone already posted this and with that this is useless, but...
"Konnichiwa! Just wanted to drop you a quick note of thanks ... You recently took the time to indicate via our licensing survey that you really wanted us to release Fruits Basket in English ... well, guess what? We listened - and as a result Furuba will hit store shelves early next year! Our editorial team - headed up by Jake Forbes - has already started work on Takaya-sensei's delightful story. It is an honor for us to publish these books and we will strive to live up to your high expectations for this wonderful manga series. For a little more info - and for a list of 6 other new acquisitions, check out: http://www.tokyopop.com/news/press2003/2003_fruits.php Thanks again for staying in touch with us - we regard feedback from our readers as a precious gift. Best, Mike" Naaaaaa! Cooool!! ^_________________________^ Well, for me anyway, since Tokyopop manga is about the only one I can get... ;_;

I actually heard about this on Animenation.
But now Tokyopop's officially announced it! ^_^ wahoo!http://animenation.net/news/index.php?id=5067 and from Anime on DVD: "TOKYOPOP snags more manga? (01:38 PM EST): Creative fans with urls have gone through parts of the TOKYOPOP site and found listings for some manga series, such as Fruits Basket, Love Won't Stop (being called A.I. Love You), Saiyuki and Pitaten." |
