I found some nice fabric on ebay that I was considering buying and turning into a lovely sundress, but I was wondering how often the colour yellow crops up in the Lolita fashion world. Here's the fabric:

Would that be suitable for making into a jsk?

Also, could you perhaps help me find examples of lolita dresses in yellow so I can have a good idea how to design my own? Thanks ladies!

i think it would be just fine, but make sure to have lots of accents (like white lace, etc) to break up the yellow. it looks like it would be kinda overwhelming in large amounts.

Meiki - Has anyone ever told you you're the most helpful person on these boards? I've just noticed how often you've popped up in other threads with bundles of links and you're just so wonderful for it! Thank you for the links! They've given me a great idea for my jumper.

Kaimana Scarlet - I agree about breaking the yellow up a bit. That's why I wanted to just make a jumper with the fabric and wear a white blouse underneath. I was also thinking white lace accents as well. Thank you!
