Easy to make cosplay costume?

im going to Anime Evolution on the 22 (of August) in Vancouver, and i really want to dress up for it. My sister and i wanted to do something that matched, so we were going to do female Kiba, and kiba's sexy jutsu, but the cons for all ages, and the costume isn't..

i need an idea of 2 matching costumes that are quick to make, or not too expensive...

any ideas?

... L, Misa and Light from Deaht Note is basicly the last ditch resort for a situation like this. Simple and easy to recognize.

Ouran Highschool also works, I'm geusisng those jackets are fairly easy to make.

street clothes/school uniforms for Bleach character are also fairly simple.

well i was in the same boat for a while, i decided to go as Gaz from Invader Zim. My friend likes to go as JTHM (Johnny The Homicidal Maniac) Let alone his own creation, JTHP (Johnny The Homicidal Pimp) which everyone seems to love to death for some reason lol. SO if you fail to fidn anything interesting. Go as your own. :]

why not try Tohru and Kisa from Fruits basket? it should be failry simple.

Actually, any kind of school uniform (design depends on the series) would be easy to make~ It's about 8-10 hours per costume (including pattern making, cutting, sewing, and everything else)~

haha well L is definetly the easiest cosplay known to man xD
and as for the school girls ive never made one myself.... but they look pretty easy to make

ANBU Black Ops from Naruto.
Pretty easy to make, and you can easily just make an ANBU version of a character, or just be a random ANBU.
That's what I did for my first cosplay.
I can also direct you to a great ANBU mask tutorial and an ANBU vest tutorial.

A totally easy costume is Videl from Dragonball Z, her's is just a T-shirt and black shorts.

I agree with L cosplay being easiest if you're a guy xD
Misa (school girl) is really easy too, I made mine in about 1 day

Battle Royale Uniforms? Not anime but would be highly recognized at an anime con. You might be able to put it together from thrift and department store finds. (I had a friend and her sister put it together quick and inexpensive.) Just don't forget to go the extra step and have the map and/or weapon prop.
