Thinking about cosplaying Kairi....
Ever since I dyed my hair red last year(it was not permanent) I thought I had a striking resemblence to Kairi of Kingdom Hearts. So I have been toying with the idea of cosplaying her and I anted to get a second opinion.
Kairi: 1(looks like my last picture imo), 2, 3, 4 my hair at its reddest(kinda old) A few pictures of me: 1, 2, 3 my questions are: should I cosplay her? if so which version? and are her outfits hard to make? |

well...i think you could be her. if you can find the right plaid, you can do her school uniform. i've been toying around doing that and i think if you just pop into walmart and buy a button down and rip off the sleeves, you already have the top.

Mangochutney is right, you should decide whether you want to or not.
And just as a note, her sleeves are rolled up, not missing.  Selphie wears the same uniform but you can see that she wears hers normally -- it's a short sleeve button down blouse.

you do look kinda like her if you compare the first kairi one and your last one
 do you have the same hairstyle as her?most of the kairis ive seen are scary thier faces let them down a little, but you could pull it off ^^ good luck!

I'd say do the outfit you feel most comfortable in. Her schoolgirl one is the simplest to make, her pink dress is the hardest. The KH1 outfit falls inbetween the two. But if you do the pink dress, PLEASE add the keyblade. If you do the schoolgirl one, PLEASE have the tote as well. Kairi is one of those cosplays that tons of ppl do so if you do it, it's gotta be done right. Gooood luck!

I agree with everyone, you look like her. And how lucky, you have blue eyes... I think you could make one of the most beautiful Kairi if you do the outfit right.
Wich one now... depends on how motivate you... because actually, I made the pink dress as my first cosplay ever and first sewing experience so Kairi is actually a good cosplay for noobs x3 You don't have a lot of things to find: some strechy pink fabric, 3 zipers, a white shirt, black fabric for the bag, elsatic for the belt (that's what I suggest), hood, eyelets, fake convers and there you go. But you may prefer to make the school uniform or the KH1 suit... so the choice is up to you. I think they are all simple so just choose the one you prefer ^_^ |
