Need your help you guys, I've been trying to look for a Russia wig but can find the right color. I've search on ebay for a Russia wig and their mostly silver!! Russia doesn't have silver hair. What wigs do you guys use for Russia?

You're right, his hair is more of a greyish-beige.
On ebay this one looks pretty good but the shipping is kinda pricey.

Hello! After very much searching, I bought a wig that was under 'brown blonde' instead of 'russia'. If you can't find the right colour when you search the character, try searching the colour you want. It works sometimes. xD

Here's the one I purchased:

Unfortunatly, they don't have it for sale in their store anymore at the moment! D: They have that same colour in a few different cuts though, if you like it! Here's one that looks like it could be modified:

Do you guys think having a Prussian flag while cosplaying Oresama no CD Prussia would be odd ?
I'm short on funds, so I can't buy the fabric for Teutonic Prussia, which is why I'm doing this much simpler (and cheaper !) version.
I just want to know because I don't want people thinking I'm doing some 'unique interpretation' and trying to get noticed by holding a flag.

Alsoalso, for future reference, does anyone know of a good pattern for Teutonic Prussia ? I was just planning on making a white shirt, pants and cape and sewing on the cross. :B

I don't think having the Prussian flag as a prop would be weird. I think Oresama no CD Prussia is recognizable enough. Most people who know Hetalia would probably know where the design came from.

As far as patterns for Teutonic Prussia goes, look at some patterns for knight costumes and see which one you think you would have the easiest time modifying. McCall's has some good knight patterns in their costume collection. They are also 99 cents at Hancock Fabrics right now if there is one near you.

This may be kinda long...

Alright, so I'm not sure when I will actually wear the outfit but I'm planning on starting work on Roma Antiqua (Grandpa Rome). First off it's surprisingly difficult to find references, I've managed to find 5 only three of which are official and they aren't exactly consistent.

To me his outfit and weapon look to be closer to Greek armor/sword but I wanted to see what others thought. So the things needing clarification:
The detailed image has him in sandals, carrying maybe a Hoplite sword, and the breast plate looks more like Greek Royal armor with the layered shoulder pieces.
The chibi shows him wearing boots, carrying what looks like some form of Gladius sword, his armor doesn't really reflect any images of roman armor I've found and the shoulders are sort of like the belt.

I'm leaning with going with the more detailed one even though there is less Roman things about it. Now some things I need to know would be is their a special way to make his cape since it isn't really the traditional style? What should the under attire be, a tunic maybe? And what would be a good way to go about the tape/wraps around his forearm and legs without actually using a tape? I've seen leg warmer type things on Naruto cosplayers but wasn't sure if that would look to tacky maybe combine that with actual taping over it? I really just don't want to have to re-tape everyday, not to mention dealing with arm/leg hair since I'm a guy...

So yeah, a little lengthy but any and all help will be appreciated.

Honestly it's just a better idea to search the color and (in most cases) length of the hair rather than the characters name when looking for a wig. You can usually find cheaper/better wigs. Now, usually there is some styling you have to do yourself. But also don't count out character wigs. Some of them are SUPER nice. I use one for Italy and I love it to pieces~. I would just suggest shopping around like that to find the one that you like.

Ah, okay, good. It's just such a simple cosplay and it had me worried, haha.

You can probably use an eddie cap tutorial. It's slightly different but probably wouldn't be difficult to modify.

Try going to Good Will or any other thrift store. They usually have some boots for cheap.
