Nice to meet everyone as well.

Wow we've really broken with international statistical averages here for FtM vs MtF. Along the lines of groups that would be useful/interesting would probably be a voice support group.

Thanks for replying, everyone. Now I know I'm definitely not alone in the cosplay community! It's nice to meet you all!

@CrackRoxas: That's excellent! I really want to get on estrogen, but my parents are kind of against it. They don't really want me to become their daughter :/ They're ok with me being trans though.

@Spitfire369: I learned that it was called "genderqueer". It is defined as feeling that you are both male and female, you are neither male or female, or you consider yourself to be a third gender. Check this out for more info:

Hmm, it looks as though I'm the only mtf here ^_^ We may be going in opposite directions from each other, but mtf's and ftm's go through many of the same feelings and experiences through their lives. I always keep that in mind when chatting with any other transperson.

Thanks everyone

I'm MtF but I'm not really "out" other then online..My mom and dad know, but no one else in my family can know..They are very, uh, not that ok with things like that..They are the kind of people that make gay jokes and such..It's just best they don't know..And since I go to my mom's a lot, where they live, I can't really do much dress-wise (as well as living in a city wear the people I have met are not very tolerant of it). I keep it to conventions and when no one is home. Glad to meet more people though, now you don't have to feel outcasted in the thread as the only one ^_^

Hi, ftm here. It's an old thread but whatever. I've had lots of weird feelings about gender... I never cared about it much but recently I noticed I've always identified more with the male gender... I suppose I'm an odd case but I'm very sure about all of it now. It's nice to see there are more trans people around here, too.
Next costumes:
Journey Traveler
DJ Octavio
Prince Alphie

Nice to meet everyone! I'm currently identifying as genderfluid but I do lean heavily towards male. At one point I thought about transitioning, but I want to be 100% sure about it before I do >>;. Gender has never been something that I cared much about though, I like to just see people for who they are and not what society says they should be =].

Cosplays in progress:

Demon form Rin - 50%
Battletorn Levi - 80%
Interrogation Levi - 70%
Angel form Stocking - 50%

I have an interesting relationship with gender. I don't feel like the title 'woman' fits me, but can't think of any that fits me better. I'm not too concerned about figuring it out, though. I just do my thing, not concerned with 'passing' unless it has to do with crossplay.

Constructing : Soren (Fire Emblem), Fox (RWBY)
Upgrading : Sheik (armor), Cloud (wig and armor)

I identify as genderless. I don't feel male, female or even neutral. I just feel like 'me' with no internal qualifier.

MtF. First time I've really said anything about this, but it helps to identify with others out there. One big reason I came back to this community, cosplay is sort of my first step towards confidence. No therapy or anything yet, my brain is still trying to wrap around things, lol.

I am. C: FtM, though I dunno about getting the surgery yet. I haven't totally come out yet to everyone in my family, namely my mom. I live with my grandma and aunt though, and they're very supportive. I was a strict crossplayer when I was female, always being male characters. I haven't cosplayed a female character yet, and probably never will. XD Though there are a few I wouldn't mind trying...
