Talking Yeah I'll say it, I Am A NEWBIE!^o^

Hi out there,
I am going to Shoujocon this year with my friends. I am very happy. Well, my question is, Is it wrong to cosplay as a game character at Shoujocon, since it is manga and all. I've read some people can get really upset about it, and I just wanted to know. Thanks for your time. ^o^

If anybody gives you flack, ignore them.

There is no requirement to cosplay as shoujo characters at Shoujocon.

There are definitely games with a Shoujo perspective in them. Angelique comes to mind.

Yay! After reading the first message, I was afraid nobody would like my new Raziel costume (Even though Angel Sanctuary is considered by some to be Shoujo... I would just categorize it as "a creation by Yuki Kaori." ^^) If anybody gives me flack, I'll be sure to whomp them with my giant wings. XD

Angel Sanctuary is shoujo. The manga series ran in the shoujo magazine Hana to Yume.

Yes yes, I know, (hence the "Hana to Yume Comics" label on the manga covers ) but it's so different from any other shoujo manga I've read, so I personally consider it to be in a category of its own, though it's officially categorized as shoujo.
