How do you make your face look more adorable/younger?

Without going over the top with the makeup? I'm getting blue contacts, so I really want my face to look more.. childish, if that makes sense. I'm doing PPGZ Bubbles:

I was thinking eyeliner and maybe a little bit of blue eyeshadow, and usually a light light amount of blush gives that effect; but my friends told me I'd just look really weird and out of place. It doesn't help that I've never worn makeup a day in my life.

I have a slightly round and childish face alone - especially when I smile, but I want to look... brighter, if that makes any sense. Is that possible and if so, how? Thanks!

Hmm,
For an eye-makeup enthusiast such as myself,
I recommend using pink and brown-black eyeshadow, as well as eyeliner.
Select a brand of your choice ;D

Using the brown-black eyeshadow, go lightly over your eyelids and a little above them near your brows. Using it lightly will not make you appear 'over the top', and still give the effect of your eyes appearing larger.
Apply the eyeliner only to your lower lids; upper lid eyeliner is a pain to apply, so I suggest simply 'layering' the shadow, going darker the closer you get to your eyelashes, and lighter above them, etc.
With the pink eyeshadow, lightly apply it around the corners of your lower lids; this brings more attention to your eyes, and therefore bring more youth per say to your features.

I have given my two cents ;D
Ahh, I wish the best!
Be sure to post photos; I'd love to see how this turns out!

White eyeliner on the inside of your bottom lid is an old movie trick to make your eyes look less tired and more open, try that. Along with light pink blush and very little black eyeliner you should look great!

I've always heard to not use eyeliner on the bottom lid because it closes your eye off and makes it look smaller. Pink eyeshadow and light pink blush and light pink lip gloss. Pretty much pink all around. XD

Pink eyeshadow, if used on the highlighter of the lid (below the eyebrow), corners, or underside will make you look like you have pink eye or have waxed/plucked your eyebrows fifteen minutes before hand. Also, if you use black eyeliner on the bottom lid, yes, it will make you look all squinty eyed and/or going for a much darker approach to makeup. The two things I recommend is not to use black eyeliner excessively, or not to use pink eyeshadow except on the crease of the lid, that way it isn't showing as much and can make brown eyes really pop! What kind of eye shape do you have?

I'm not sure as to my exact eye shape, and I don't have a camera on me at the moment to take a picture for reference.. but thanks for the tips, all of you. I'll definitely be trying the different ones out before the con to see which one has the best result. (:

Making your eyes bigger, brighter, and rounder always works. Maybe adding fake lashes with extreme mascara. Dark eyeliner on upper lid, light eyeliner on bottom lid, and white shimmer eyeliner on inner corners. Light pink blush with some concealer and foundation (not too much >.>;; ) and some fruity lipgloss. Making your eyebrows less arched and sharp helps too.

And probably having cropped bangs...

Facial expressions are important too.

Ever heard of circle lenses?

They make your eyes look HUGE.

D00d,
These things are MAGIC.
A friend bought them once, and with her eyes being naturally narrow-ish,
It made a freakish difference between eyeshapes.
They pop your eyes like maaad C:

Whatever you do, I would say to go for a peachy colored blush. Did you ever notice the colors they tend to use in full color manga art? That's what I'm talking about. Study your shoujo mangas if you don't know what I mean. Peach might not be the right description for it, but hopefully the reference clears up any naming mishaps.

I'd say use liquid foundation and mascara, I use that and I look super-cute!

That's definitely a good base, but your eyes are kind of lost in the paleness of your face. I'd suggest brown eyeliner and brown or black mascara (depending on your hair/wig color) in addition.

Seconding the pink eyeshadow, lots of mascara -- try to get some fake eyelashes if you can, and apply mascara to those, too. The bigger your eyes, the sweeter you will look. Also focus on a cherubic lip shape; use colors and liners that will make it look more like a pucker.

Ahhh I'm totally addicted to circle lenses. They ruined my 20/20 vision, but my vision hasn't gotten TOO bad.

It helps a little, but it really does depend on your face shape. The rounder, the younger you look. The more angular, the older =T
