Im new to cosplay I have a question. Bleach
so I have been ordering some stuff to cosplay as Ichigo Bankai here is what I have so far.

My question is do I have to have a Wood sword to get into a convention should I ever make it to one? I have been looking at this one. http://www.kingofswords.com/Swords/A...-Sword-52.html There is no sheath with it and I want to be able to carry it. I did not know if it was acceptable to get a metal one like this one. http://www.trueswords.com/ichigo-ten...me-p-2888.html the wooden one looks more like the one in the Anime but I really want a sheath. most cons have a rule against live steel or metal like your zangetsu.

It would probably be better to go with the wood one to a con and that metal on to have for home and your personal photoshoots because they can/possibly will confinscate the metal ones at cons.
I have seen it happen before.

you know true swords had a wooden one 52" cheaper then the wooden one you listed. the one at true swords that was wooden was 15 bucks.
here: http://www.trueswords.com/wooden-ich...in-p-3067.html its the one im planning on getting if i cant finish making my own by the time Anime Boston comes around which I doubt I will have to get this. But even so its cheaper. whoops. >_O sorry for the several week bump. my apologies
