Cosplay Dinner!

Hey everyone!

I'd like to see if we couldn't get a cosplay dinner get-to-gether this year at Youmacon It could be either Thurs or Friday evening (please vote in the poll!)

Probably around.. 8 PM either night, so that way we don't hit rush hour at restaurant (and get stuck standing in long lines), and if anyone has any suggestions on places to eat around the new hotel, that'd be great! (I was at Youmacon 2 years ago, so I'm not sure about this new place)

Steak N' Shake is always a good option - is there one?

I've looked on the maps, here's some locations that are closeby. Though IDK if they're walking distance.

McDs
Taco Bell
Sbarro
A & W
Subway
TGI Fridays

All of these places are like .2-.3 miles from the hotel.

I'm not particularily interested in the dinner, but there's a mall right across the street from the con hotel, Fairlane Town Center (http://www.shopfairlane.com/IM/index.html), so there's bound to be lots of restaurants around. And given the Friday being Halloween, I somehow don't see restaurants being THAT busy but then again, it is Friday, so who knows. There are also some age restrictions/curfews when it comes to the mall to be aware of.

And speaking with Nikolai and my own personal inquiry, there isn't a Steak N Shake anywhere near the new hotel location :/ I'm equally disappointed. I believe in speaking with him, Youmacon was planning to generate a handy convention map with the location of surrounding restaurants but I'm not sure if it's completed or not yet.

This is that map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...73c3eff9b&z=13

Everything within the circle (zoom in) is the mall. All the stuff there and bordering the circle is within walking distance.
