Stargate Carter Help

I am trying to cosplay Samantha "Sam" Carter from the TV show Stargate SG1. I plan on doing a field uniform costume and I'm looking for references. The thing is that I already have a jacket and pant set of Army issued green camo and if I can find a reference photo with her in something similar to what I already have that would be less money I have to spend.
these are pictures of the uniform I already have

Thanks in advance!

I've been a lurker here for a while, but being a huge Stargate fan, I had to register just to help you out.

This site should give you what you need: SG Costume Guides.

What you've currently got most closely matches the SGC Woodland Uniform. It's difficult to find a reference picture for that uniform variant, since it's not used as often as the other variants, but that site will break down the uniform and list the various parts.

If you're interested in the weapon, Stargate teams use the FN P90. It should be relatively easy to find reference pictures for that if you're going to construct your own, but you can also probably find a paintball gun that uses the FN P90 stock, as well.

However, if you want to get really technical and and don't mind building yourself a weapon, I recommend taking a look at the "Carter Special." It's a gun that Samantha Carter specifically created for the SG teams and, if you've got that, I'm sure your costume would be quite a hit with fans of the series.

I hope this helps you out.

Well I have done this for past 9 years and know there is a lot BAD info out there. I have spent better part of decade learning as much as possible about the uniforms and am considered an expert in the tac-gear and modifications by most in the community...

After the first Propworx auction I had mentioned to the owner the many mistakes in the catalog, well needless to say you can guess who got tasked with editing the second catalog!

The biggest issue is most the "off the shelf" items have changed and therefor the screen accuracy is even harder to achieve unless you know what to buy and what not to buy and a lot mistakes are made by rookies and they end up spending 2 or 3x what they should have if they done it right the first time. Become my mission in life to stop that!
