Hey Guys!
Anime Island is on again, being hosted by the TUU's DigiVisiPop Society at UTas Hobart Campus, it is Tasmania's ONLY Anime Convention. Ai-con is well known for its broad range of new and exciting events such as Cosplay Mystery Date and Thank Kami You're Here, as well as convention favourites such as Cosplay, Fruits and much much more.
AI-Con's theme for 2009 is Feudal so be prepared for a samurai sword swinging and knight jousting good time. Yes we do have lenient weapon policies in Tasmania (no live steel only) so make the most of the natural scenery and feel free to carry your props all day.
The dates for 2009 are the 7th to the 8th of February, preregistration isn't open yet but will be up soon so go to the forums and get to know everyone while you're waiting to get your tickets.
