Groovy. ^^
For a tutu, is there any brand of tulle that works very well?

Any stiff tulle will work so the tutu keeps its shape and stays standing ^_^

I really hope my mother gives me her white feather boa, since I'm stingy and don't want to buy feathers for my Tutu headpiece.

You can sometimes dye tulle if you have a dye which works on synthetic fibers such as Dylon. Some tulle though the color just will not take. Also when getting your tulle, make sure its diamond net, not the honey comb shape. The honey comb tulle seems stiff but it collapses when you gather it. Some tutus use a buckram and wire support which will hold the tulle straight out.

I found great black feathers for Kraehe at Michaels'. They look perfect for her headpiece and tutu.

I'm thinking of cosplaying from the series, but I'm not sure yet. There's too many awesome characters.

I'd like to have a go at Princess Kraehe. It would be interestng to see if I could pull off this cosplay.
I love ballet and when I got to watch this anime I was pleasently surprised to find how it was done in such an artistic and beautiful way. I think this is my favourite anime now.

Anyway.. so because I am an artist and I love to paint and sculpt ballet dancers, I couldn't help buying some pointe shoes when I got the chance. Like method actors - I had to know what it was like to wear pointe shoes. So I tried them on! Then temptation to try en pointe was just too much to resist (I know - Naughty me!) But I was gobsmaked to find myself standing there en pointe! ...how is this possible!?
I keep reading that it is dangerous if you are not a trained dancer. And especially if you are a guy. What is the danger exactly.. slipping over, sickling and breaking an ankle, compression fracture of a metatarsel? The design of the pointe shoe seems to support the whole foot so that the weight is not all going through the toes, and actaully I feel quite steady on them now. But I am still expecting to be told off. ^^
So yeah, what exactly is the danger?

Seems like they would hurt a little but that's just me!

I'm going to tackle a few versions of Mytho come Youmacon 09. My sister is going to cosplay Duck/Tutu and We'll have a Rue/Kreahe and a Fakir with us too. XD We're trying to get someone to cosplay Drosselmeyer so we can preform a Skit.

A Kraehe crossplayer?

....I love you. I really do.

Oh, and I found a way to make Tutu's leotard without any visible straps. A clear strap halter neck.

I'm thinking of just using double sided tape for the Kreahe cosplay I plan to do. It'll be hard to move around though, so I don't know. I also should tone my torso just a bit before hand. Haha.
