Irvine's Duster/Jacket
I know there's alot of Irvine cosplayers out there. I'm just wondering exactly how you made the jacket. Did you start from scratch? Or did you mod a jacket. And so on. ^__^

Actually, I don't think Irvine is oft cosplayed.. .heh... You'll see about 1 Irvine per.. oh... 3 Selphies. (which are very good odds for Irvine)

Yeah. I'm cosplaying as him for a friend. Though I've wanted to do the costume. I'm also cosplaying as Kiros. And so....I need to try to finish in a week and a half.

If that's all the time you've got, no working from scratch for you. Hit the thrift stores. And yeah, Irvine is not cosplayed much . . . certainly not enough for me. ^^

You can buy a jacket like Irvine's right now cuz the Western look is sooooo in.
I see jackets like his EVERYwhere. I just bought a new squall belt too.. phew.. cuz the large western buckles were hard to find until now.

Lucky enough...I had an old duster type thing in the closet...just have to bleach..and redye. I love fabric dye.

I'm helping my friend remaking her Irvine costume.
For the jacket, we went to thirft store and bought the jacket. Mostly modifying the jacket...

I amgoing to be cosplaying Irvine and I got his duster at a thrift store. The lenght nd colour are perfect. I am going to paint the buttons. The best thing to do is find a jacket that is knee leanght and watches the colour. And the buy some preferablly fur or fluffy lining an stitch it into the collar and cuffs. ^^
